Used to be one of our favourite places but some of the staff are much ruder than the people that they used to have. Bizarre collection of beers recently - all dark - considering the range that Hope makes. No more Hefeweizen, so we won't be back. We're local. Not recommended any more.
Great new venue and brand new menu. Caters for all. Well done to the Hopes. Recommend the Hope Lager and the berry beer !
You get a tasting paddle with beers of your choice. The barman was very friendly, it's a nice location, kids can do colouring-in and lunch was good. One small suggestion is they should have umbrellas on the balcony because it gets very hot. Bring sunscreen!
Food avarage at best. Dirty did not see a table wiped in 2 hours with 3 groups through a table. A bar with no coasters serving cocktails in beer tasting glasses. Saving grace beer and wine good.
I had given up on this place not long after it opened due to it poor beers but a friend recently visited the Hope Estate Winery in the Hunter Valley and said they had a lot more beers. Went back into this bar and sure enough plenty more tasty options to choose from. We really enjoyed them all and will be back. Really need to do something about providing some proper shade on the balcony before summer comes though. It shouldn't cost too much to make that outdoor area look much better and get some shade going.
