My brother who was end stage cancer was told his condition had 'plateaued' and he was OK to go home. Two days later he died in the Mater at Newcastle. What he, and our family endured over the next 2 days was so cruel and dehumanising we will never recover. These people are monsters. Please don't take my word for it. On 4 February I am submitting documents, photo's and affidavits of phone conversations to NSW Health, the Premier and the Minister for Port Stephens.
I took my son to check a rush on his body. Firstly, I was hesitant since many reviews were not so good, but I want to say that the nurse who did the triage and then the doctor at the GP clinic were excellent. I would recommend anyone the hospital over a private GP who can charge from 80$.
Im here visiting on holidays and needed to take my son in to get a checkup on something. Service was fantastic, Reception & Triage really nice ladies. Got a doctor named Luke. Super friendly knew his stuff.It was after hours and we needed some medication. He let us know that no pharmacys would be open so he went and made up the medicine himself for us then and there! It was all bulk billed and didnt cost us $1 (Including the medicine!)You guys are a great public service and youre doing a great job! Keep it up!
Took my 18 month old daughter after dislocating her elbow. Was seen to in under 10 minutes and doctor had diagnosed and fixed it with no fuss. Walked out within the hour. Great service
I've had several experiences with the Tomaree Hospital and they've all been good. On two occasions the emergency treatment my family has received here has been life saving. Nothing but praise for all the staff, and I have never encountered rudeness. The follow-up treatment at the nearby clinic has also been excellent.
