Went camping for the weekend. First time at Nelson Bay. A nice, convenient park. Friendly staff, nice camp grounds and right near the beach. Only issue was that facilities - while functional - were a bit outdated.
The tent sites are well located near the camp kitchen and amenities block. The sites are s nice size and the park is small but very well laid out. The location is amazing and you have gates that lead to 2 different beaches.
Halifax is such a beautiful, calm and peaceful place to stay! We stayed for 3 nights and found it very affordable. The beaches and fishing spots are so close to the park and being able to hear the ocean from your balcony adds such a relaxing touch! The rooms were perfect for our family and held all of luggage comfortably.
Prime position within easy walk of town. Amenities are clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
I have been there before and I will definitely be going there again.Bites On The Bay have the best fish and chips.
